Opportunities to Apply Theory to Real Life Situations
Our students are placed in a variety of agencies and settings in London and the surrounding area. King's School of Social Work is connected to over 300 social service agencies and organizations where students gain practical social work experience.
Students and Field Instructors can expect the following:
- Individualized placement planning with every student
- Faculty Consultants who liaise regularly between the Student, School and Practicum site
- Field Instructor training in both online and face-to-face formats
- Professional Development workshops offered throughout the year
- Opportunities for committee involvement
