Allison Chang Advocates for the ‘Paediatric Rule’

Allison Chang completed her BSW Year 3 field placement virtually at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. She engaged in policy level work to highlight the need for Health Canada drug regulations to include a ‘paediatric rule’ to ensure safety guidelines for children as well as adults

Allison, along with Dr. Charlotte Moore Hepburn, Dr. Deborah Levy , and Independent Senator Rosemary Moodie, advocated for the ‘Paediatric Rule’ in The Hill Times:

Allison, Dr. Moore Hepburn, and Dr. Levy also anticipate their ‘Paediatric Rule’ article will be published in the journal Healthcare Policy soon.

I came to King's as a Bachelor of Social Work Student in 2021 and found a wonderful community here. I am now completing my Master of Social Work. King's has provided me with room to grow and flourish into a social worker and I am so grateful for that.
