King's School of Social Work - Professional Development

MSW students are required to attend 3 of 5 Professional Development Workshops offered annually by the School of Social Work. The presentation topics reflect a wide range of interests by practicing social workers such as conflict resolution, mindfulness, gender-based violence, CAS duty to report, anti-racism, etc.

Current King’s Field Instructors are invited to attend the workshops free of charge in appreciation of their dedication to social work field education. The workshops are not available to the public.

Field Instructors will be advised about workshop details as they are available.

I came to King's as a Bachelor of Social Work Student in 2021 and found a wonderful community here. I am now completing my Master of Social Work. King's has provided me with room to grow and flourish into a social worker and I am so grateful for that.
